Triumph Abigail Dominion is the Founder/Owner/President of AFRIFIMO, Inc. AFRIFIMO, Inc., (African
Film Movement) is a non-profit organization that was created to build awareness, educate, promoting support and understanding of the multi-cultures in the continent of Africa, and the African Diaspora all over the world, and to develop, inspire, empower and recognize the unique talent of African Performing Artists/African.
Entertainers all over the world through a movement of seven (7) well-defined Units. One of the other major goals of AFRIFIMO, Inc., is to create employment opportunities through the various projects it generates within each of the seven units that make up the organization.
The “Mission” of AFRIFIMO, Inc., is to establish a location of unique grandeur whereby individuals from all over the world can come and see their film creation come alive. The objective is to develop the resources and the film production expertise that is necessary for the expansion of the film market in African countries, and other “Third World” countries all over the world. God’s Majestic Plan for Triumph Abigail has been realized.
Triumph Abigail is a born again Christian and mother of two beautiful daughters, Naomi and Joy. Triumph Abigail’s heritage is African (Her father, late International Judge Paul Bamela Engo – Int’l Tribunal of the Law of the Sea - was from half from Ebolowo’o, Cameroon, Central Region of Africa and half from Warri, Nigeria, West Africa) and Jamaican/Cuban/West Indian (Her mother, late Beatrice Viola Amanda Antonio, was half Cuban-Jamaican and half Black-Indian from St. Kitts).
Triumph Abigail was born in Bonn, Germany. Her parents moved back to the United States where she started her early education. Her parents then moved to Cameroon, Central Africa, where Triumph Abigail finished her elementary and secondary education. Inspired by the beauty of the various provinces in Cameroon, Triumph Abigail dove into two different areas in her life which she merged into one: she helped handicap, abuse and orphan children feel better about themselves through counseling, cultural shows, poetry, theatre plays, song composition and singing, painting & art work, all of which were later used on stage at various festivals and cultural conventions, and a percentage of the proceeds were distributed to the children who had participated.
At the age of 18, Triumph Abigail’s beloved mother, Beatrice Viola Amanda Antonio, returned to her maker after a long fight of breast cancer and diabetes. A year later, her father, was posted by the Cameroon government, to be the United Nations Permanent Representative of Cameroon in New York, NY, so Triumph Abigail and her family, returned to the United States. (Her father returned to his Maker April 2010). Upon her return to the United States, Triumph Abigail enjoyed doing volunteer work by helping battered women and children in the regard of counseling, cultural awareness (cuisine, traditions, education, social interaction, dignity and respect –norms and values), education, languages (taught French). Triumph Abigail also attended quite a few courses in Performing Arts, Scripting, Movie Making. She wrote several Scripts for movies, sitcoms, and mini-series, for television stations as well as radio stations abroad. She enjoyed writing and fashion design as a hobby at the time. She also choreographed a series of cultural shows that were organized with various groups of the United Nations.
Triumph Abigail graduated from Strayer University in Washington, D.C, with a double major (Bachelor of Science- Computer Information Systems, & Minor – Business Management). She still pursued her dreams by organizing musicals, modeling shows, theatre plays, at various functions. She also continued to write
scripts and poems.
In 2003, Triumph Abigail and her two daughters moved to Cameroon to start a Film Production Company. They lived in Cameroon for three years, whereby she was able to do a lot of humanitarian work and motion picture production (a Cultural Talk Show “Cultural Flavors”, A Sitcom “Culture Shock”, and a Movie Comedy “City Villagers”). In 2006, Triumph Abigail and her two daughters moved back to the United States. November – December 2010, Triumph Abigail acted a main role (Uju) in a movie shot in New York City called “Unwanted Guest”, which was based on a true story – lifestyle of some Africans that come and live in the US, forgetting their cultural values. (Chuck Ajoku – Executive Producer) October 2011, AFRIFIMO, Inc., (African Film Movement) was created with the headquarters in New York City.
Triumph Abigail is the Founder and President of AFRIFIMO, Inc. March 2012, Triumph Abigail also acted as a main role (Ruth) in a movie shot in Portland, Maine called “Pure Silence”, which is a very powerful story of abuse and salvation. (Marie Solo & Robert Peters – Executive Producers) December 2012, Triumph Abigail shot and starred in a short film “In Sync” that was about HIV/AIDS Awareness. (Triumph Abigail Dominion – Executive Producer/ Film Director).

The movie is based on personal experiences in Triumph Abigail’s life. She was inspired to turn these painful personal experiences into a movie so as to help abuse victims. The mission of the “Triumph of the Millennium” movie is:
Statistically, in 1 to 5 homes, in the world, at least 2 homes have some form of abuse taking place regularly. Society, as a whole, has frequent cases of abuse (physical, mental or otherwise); there is a lot of negativity in perceiving the way of life. Built into this movie are elements that offset the negativity and offer hope and encouragement to millions of people, both male and female, who can relate to having gone through the same or similar situations or know someone who has. The movie is meant to inform, educate and provide hope to abuse victims. There are several shelters, foundations, good Samaritans, family members, friends, authorities’, that are available to counsel, protect and rehabilitate abuse victims.
“Majority of my work as a Writer is inspired by real life experiences. I thank God for blessing me with creativity, knowledge and wisdom to put it all into action. I’m truly blessed to have loving and supportive beautiful daughters, Naomi and Joy. Put God first and the sky is the limit once you know what creative passion you have, and focus on how to go about achieving it.”
