Ivanka Trump Ends Interview With Cosmopolitan Magazine After Unfair Question

Cosmopolitan Magazine interviewed Ivanka Trump about her father's new child care policy. She is considered the force behind the new policy; she helped introduce it alongside her father this week and is publicizing it. But when she was asked a few basic questions about the policy, the interview went off the rails.

Cosmo’s Prachi Gupta asked Ivanka about the odd juxtaposition of her father’s previous commentary on pregnancy being “an inconvenient thing” for employers and the new 6 weeks of paid leave proposed by him.

“In 2004, Donald Trump said that pregnancy is an inconvenient thing for a business. It’s surprising to see this policy from him today. Can you talk a little about those comments, and perhaps what has changed?”

Ivanka became upset, saying that the questions had “a lot of negativity in them.” She called the question an “unfair characterization of his track record,” despite it being based on a direct and recent quote.

“So I don’t know how useful it is to spend too much time with you on this, if you’re going to make a comment like that.”

Then it seems Gupta made another mistake. Right before Ivanka abruptly ended the interview, she was asked "how daddy Trump planned to pay for the wall.
Then Ivanka said,

 “I’m going to jump off, I have to run. I apologize.”

It should be easy to trust Mr. Trump, seeing as he only lies about seven out of ten times he speaks.
