Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State has donated the sum of N50 million to Nollywood guilds. The governor handed over a cheque of N50 million to a team of Nollywood practitioners who paid a courtesy call on him last Monday (June 25). The team included Zik Zulu Okafor, Andy Amenechi, and Stephanie Linus.
The donation made by the governor, was in fulfillment of a pledge, which he made at a presidential dinner, held for Nollywood practitioners, in March.
