The Liberia born beauty goddess currently lives in Pennsylvania. As a child, she migrated to the U.S. with her parent to escape from the civil war in Liberia. Upon arriving to the United States, Lisa soon gained deep interest in the Entertainment industry, mainly Fashion. She enjoyed reading magazines, watching fashion shows, and taking pictures which became her great escape from the traumatic experience in Liberia. Fashion allowed her to feel something which she never felt before, a sense of freedom. This underlying desire quickly turned to a deep passion for modeling. She is inspired by Tyra Banks and Iman.
In the summer of 2011, Lisa graduated from Temple University with a Bachelors of Art In Psychology. She is one of the founding members of, “SIS,” Strong Intellectual Sisters, a volunteer group composed of young women of color who want to give back to the community as well as raise funds to support different initiatives focused on helping women of color who have been affected by different illnesses. .
As a model, she’s done numerous photo-shoots fashion shows and hosted many events, including participating in the Miss Liberia Maryland 2008 Beauty Pageant, Mother Africa and talents Fashion Show, Red Carpet Host For Delude Movie Premier in 2011 and being nominated as “Best Model” for the Liberian Entertainment Awards in 2012. Lisa has also appeared as Guest Star twice on the online hit radio show “GFEM RADIO.” Lisa is an upcoming accomplished model and has added acting to her resume. In 2010, she held a supporting role in the feature film “Heartless Lover.” She appeared in Lead Liberian Singer Jodi’s Music video “Number One” with The Hottest Nigerian Artist “Bracket” The best of Lisa is yet to come.
Lisa’s career as a model took a different turn when she teamed up with Barefeet Shoes, a major shoe department store in the United States. In February of 2012, she was chosen among thousands of girls to model for the department store. Lisa’s image were used as a campaign for the store’s website. This transition as a promotional model has truly redefined her career. she is constantly recreating what it is to be an African Model. In May 2012 Lisa Participated in Ohio fashion week in Dayton, Ohio which was a dream come true for the aspiring model.
