Prinze Whyee is a Liberia born and raised filmmaker, writer, director and producer. He has always been passionate about story telling. Prinze migrated to the United State and enrolled at Lincoln University where he majored in Business Adminitartion (Accounting concentration) He later transferred to Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he earn his Bachelor of Science in Communication Media with interest in Television and Film Production. During his first year at Indiana University, He served as Membership Chairperson for The MEDIA PROMOTION AND PRODUCTIONS ASSOCIATION, (MPPA).
Mr. Whyee has gain the recognition and admiration of film fanatics and media institutions around the globe with his film “ THE BLESSED CURSE” In 2011, his film "Killing Me Softly" was nominated for best film in the Drama category by the Nollywood and Afrian Film Critics Awards. In 2012, he was nominated and won Best film maker at the Liberia Entertainment Awards. In 2013, Mr. Whyee was nominated for the People Choice Award at the NAFCA. That same year his film the “The Blessed Curse “ got four nominations and a win for Best Makeup .
Mr. Whyee is the Founder and CEO of DUCOR MEDIA FILMS a Full Service Multimedia and Nationally Recognized Film and Production Company based in Philadelphia Pennsylvania . He humble and hard working. He currently working on his Third Project “TRANSITION” with a multi-racial cast. For him he is a student of the art and will never stop learning. His famous quote by Henry Wadsworth Longffellow
