Al-Shabaab Militant Killed 147 In A Kenya College

Four members of an Islamic group called The Somalia-based Al-Shabaab militant group claimed responsibility for the attack in a Kenyan University that claimed the life of 147 people, injured 79 and 587 people were evacuated.

The four gunmen burst into the university and started shooting sporadically at students killing 147 and taking some hostages at the dormitory. The four gunmen were later killed.

According to the Kenyan Interior Ministry Joseph Nkaissery, "The death toll is the highest in a terror attack on Kenyan soil since the U.S. Embassy was bombed in 1998. More than 200 people died in the Nairobi blast".
