Ghost Towns Loom Across North And South West Cameroon

Ghost town is effective in Bamenda, Kumbo, Nkambe, Buea,Tiko, Mutengene, Limbe, Kumba and other areas in North West and South West regions of Cameroon.
Correspondent reports say few Francophone students were spotted around GBHS MUEA with Francophone teachers but no classes.

In Victoria the park is deserted.But there is heavy deployment of security forces at almost all major junctions.

Meanwhile in Bamenda, security forces took into custody the principal of a local government high school(GBHS-Nkwen).The Principal was abducted at his residence.No details were made public as to the reasons behind his abduction.
