Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Chika Ike has been conferred with a Chieftancy title 'Akwa Ugo 1 of Amoli Kingdom' in Enugu State; due to her benevolent contributions to the betterment and development of the Igbo land.

Chika Ike has for years, been engaged in philanthropic activities when she's not on movie set -- improving the lives of the less-privileged. Last month, she spent her birthday with public school children and also awarded 5 of the students a scholarship under the Chika Ike Foundation; including caring for the sick in hospitals, widows and so forth. News about her charity work continues to trend in the media.
Chika, who is public-spirited, was on September 27th this year, honored with a HOG (Hall Of Grace) Award for her humanitarian works. Now the Igwe of Amoli Kingdom has also rewarded her with a chieftancy title as 'Akwa Ugo 1 of Amoli Kingdom' for using her fame and foundation to improve lives in her community and for being an ideal role model that other women emulates.
