Serena Williams raised trophy after beating Angelique Kerber 7-5, 6-3 in the Wimbledon 20160 final.
With the victory, her seventh singles title at Wimbledon, Williams claimed her 22nd Grand Slam singles title, equaling the Open Era record held by Steffi Graf.
Serena says the following during an interview,
"Yeah, it's been incredibly difficult not to think about it. I had a couple of tries this year," Williams said during the trophy ceremony. "But it makes the victory even sweeter to know how hard I worked for it."Hard work always pays off... Congrats....
