I am Kristy Wells, Ms. Kaufman County Texas Plus America, and I am preparing to compete for the 2014 State Title, Ms. Texas Plus America next month, April 25th-27th in Garland, Texas. I would greatly appreciate your support.
The Texas Plus America Pageant is an official preliminary to the National Miss Plus America Pageant. The Plus America System is comprised of four divisions; Teen Ambassador, Miss, Ms., and Mrs. The winners of the Texas Plus America Pageant will advance to the National Plus America Pageant. Committed to the plus size woman, and believes that all women are beautiful, inside and out and deserve a chance to promote those causes closest to her heart with a title worthy of their representation. The Texas Plus America Pageant is devoted to celebrating the essence of the full-figured woman. Women with ambition, our titleholders are women with uncompromising morals and a desire to serve their community through volunteerism.
As Ms. Kaufman County Plus America, I've had the opportunity to promote my platform, Girls, Inc. (Tarrant County). I chose Girls, Inc. as my platform because it is a national nonprofit youth organization for girls ages 6-18 that is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through life-changing programs and experiences that help them navigate gender, economic, and social barriers. I want to further promote this organization, with your help, on a state level and hopefully on a national level!
