The Orsos Island is a $6.5 million man-made floating “island” and might just be the next big thing for the super rich. The island measures 20 by 37 metres (66 by 121 feet), and has no engine but can be anchored anywhere you desire. It can later be towed to a different location, perhaps to the other side of the world. The island offers 1,000 square meters of living space and is environmentally friendly and fully self-sufficient. Solar panels and wind generators will provide power.
According to the National Post there has been huge amounts of interest from all over the world and the company has already taken pre-orders. Not all islands have to cost $6.5 million – Check out this Island Paradise Made Out Of Recycled Plastic Bottles.
