Stella Icon's Biography

Stella Adeone (Samuel) aka Stella Icon was born to Mr. Clement and late Mrs. Evelyn Adeone, of Ogbunike, Anambra State, Nigeria.The third of eight children, she was brought up in a middle class environment. Her early year was in Owerri where she attended her high school education. The respect and admiration she commanded earned her the office of her high school social prefect. 

Stella is a graduate of Biology/chemistry from the Anambra State College of Education with a National certificate in education (N.C.E). She also attended prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka where she earned another degree with in Biology. (Bsc.edu). She taught Biology and Chemistry in senior classes at the Anambra State Education Commission. 

Mrs  Adeone is naturally endowed. In her university years, she contested in  beauty pageant  and Miss Campus and was crowned the people's choice where she contested for Miss Campus and was crowned the people's choice. In addition, she participated in cultural dance groups, drama and debating society. She is an active member of Rotary Club of Nigeria. 

She is married with five children, currently lives in Houston, TX, USA. Upon arrival to the US, Stella quickly enrolled at the Houston Community College where she obtained her Associate in sciences, followed by a medical career in Montgomery College in the field of nursing. She later got her teaching certification from the Texas Teachers commission. She is currently a part-time teacher (in Alief ISD) and private entrepreneur. Stella has completed her master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) with Strayer University, currently working towards completing her doctorate degree program.

 

Apart from her active educational activities both in Nigerian and in the US, Stella is very active in the development of Nollywood film Industry in the United States especially in the Houston area. Stella is a founding member of the Nollywood entertainment Network of Houston.  She acted in most prominent Nollywood USA films like; Caged, followed by her opening act in the Governor’s Gift, JJ Bunny’s Productions. She was very remarkable in her role in Caught In The Web an Eva Bank Film. Stella popularly known as Stella Icon also played very important role in movies like  Black Roses, Rebound, Royal Dilemma, Lost in a Moment, Enemy in The House, One Life to Live,  Under The Cover, My Husband Secret Life, Bloodline Battle. She also starred in her upcoming movies called “UNDER THE COVER and “A MESSAGE TO BRIAN”  which she produced  under her production company KAYSTELL PRODUCTIONS.  Stella Icon is a rapidly rising as an actress and a producer in Nollywood USA. She is makeup artist as well.
